Getting Here
From Muheza By Car
Magoroto is 45 minutes from Muheza (12 km). From the Muheza–Tanga Highway, turn right at the Magoroto Forest sign after 2 km. Follow a 10 km dry-weather road, then follow signs to the estate headquarters for the final 1 km. Coordinates: -5.110117, 38.753695
Public Transport
Take any bus heading to Tanga and get off at Muheza. From Muheza, the estate can arrange a taxi pick-up, or you can use motorbike taxis (bodaboda) to reach the estate 12 km away.

Lake Safety
The lake is spring-fed and up to 12 metres deep. Swimming and diving are permitted. Please exercise caution and swim at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.
