School Programs

Given the vast number of activities available, Magoroto offers one of the best destinations for school outdoor activity programs that are usually conducted on week-long activity break.

We are proud to have hosted a number of students on activity weeks from different schools.

Activity week school trips are designed to give students the opportunity to try something new or develop their skills in an activity or subject area in which they have an existing interest. 

Magoroto Forest offers the best possible value for student activities week, making learning outside the classroom more accessible and more affordable.

During the week we curate a special list of programs for the students based on their age size and interests. Students learn outdoor survival skills such as tent pitching and making a camp fire. DIY activities such making bamboo rafts and fishing rods add up to their skill level on creativity. We also extend the activity list to include community works that support the twelve villages neighbouring Magoroto Forest Estate.

Magoroto is a network free zone and the fact that students will have no access to data, wifi, TV and digital devices, ensures that they are able to interact amongst themselves, engage in the activities and learn new games that they would otherwise have missed the opportunity to learn.
